Our Legacy

Interdimensional Industries

Interdimensional Industries was conceived as Musical Enterprise in 1988.  Its primary focus at that time was to provide a Sound Studio for independent artists and bands on the West Coast of Canada,  primarily in Vancouver and on Vancouver Island.  Its secondary focus was to provide independent artists with Graphics and Website design assistance.  In 1998,  Interdimensional Industries became a licensed recording label and began releasing Compact Disc releases and licensing artist’s releases to various magazine,  radio,  and inter-label compilations.  In 2003 the label began releasing vinyl EPs,  the first of a coloured series was Karl Mohr’s Wassermixe,  released on clear blue vinyl.  This release received accolades from around the world,  particularly from the Chill House audience and is still widely sought after.

The Music

To date Interdimensional Industries has released seventeen compact discs and three extended vinyl records.  Our releases tend to be rooted in various electronica sub-genres and are often described as dark,  dreamy,  and hypnotic.
